How can I figure the correct box or mailer size for my product?
Last Updated: 01/15/2018

The following are the steps to figuring box and/or mailer sizes.

For Boxes:

  1. Lay out the items you will be shipping onto a table or counter. Arrange as you would inside the box.
  2. Measure the product/s.
  3. Add any cushioning allowance.
  4. Add .125" to the length and width to figure the box dimensions. (Our dimensions are interior dimensions.)
  5. Order a sample to make sure it is the right size.

For Mailers:

For items that are not flat:

  1. Lay out the items you will be shipping onto a table or counter. Arrange as you would inside the box.
  2. Measure the product/s.
  3. Add the length + height + 1" for the length.
  4. Add the width + height + 1" for the width.
  5. Order a sample to make sure it is the right size.

For items that are flat (less than 1/16"):

  1. Measure the product/s.
  2. Add the length + 1/2" for the length.
  3. Add the width + 1/2" for the width.
  4. Order a sample to make sure it is the right size.
