Do these mailers have padding for extra protection?
Yes - The cushioning material is made up of components commonly found in glue used to make corrugated boxes. An additive is put in to it that will expand the glue when heated up in the ovens during the converting process.
The cushioning material is easily separated from the paper fibers during the repulping process. It does not inhibit the mailer from being recycled.

What padded envelope is best for my business?
If your product requires a lot of protection, the heavier-duty Paper Padded Mailer or the waterproof Plastic Bubble Mailer are the best options on the market. However, if you only need light cushioning or structure to your mailer, the Paper Bubble Mailer or EcoTec Mailer may be a better fit.
