Algae stamp ink is recommended for uncoated paper products. We find this ink dries slowly on glassine, so we do not recommend using it on this material. (Stay tuned, because we're working on a new formulation that’s suitable for poly surfaces!)

Great black ink but takes a while to dry

As someone trying to be 100% eco-friendly with their packaging, this was an excellent option for a stamp with my company logo. Although I know there is the option to have items pre-printed with a logo in algae ink, I opted for a stamp and made my own as I figured out what would work best (before having it pre-printed). My only issue is that the ink can take slightly longer to dry on the cardboard boxes. Other than that, it is dark, opaque, and black -- all I was looking for but in an eco-friendly option. Easy to clean, too! The last thing is that the bottle, once empty and rinsed, can be returned for use again. (directions are in the packaging).
